Philippines Advantages

Political stability and pro-US policies.The Philippines is a long-standing US ally, with the US-Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty and a pro-US policy. Under US industrial security policy, it is included on the "Made in China" list of friendly countries. With close trade ties with the US, it has a high chance of benefiting from future preferential policies.

The company's strategic location offers advantages in connecting to Southeast Asian supply chains. Its proximity to upstream photovoltaic material sources such as China, South Korea, and Japan facilitates access to raw materials such as polysilicon, silver paste, and glass. Ocean shipping to the US West Coast offers reasonable costs.

The Philippines is not currently included in the list of countries subject to AD/CVD sanctions.Compared to Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, and Laos, the Philippines is not currently subject to US AD/CVD PV investigations or penalties. This makes the Philippines an alternative manufacturing country for "compliant exports" to the US market.

PEZA companies are exempt from corporate income tax for the first 4 to 6 years (100% tax exemption). Raw materials and equipment are imported at zero tariffs, and products are exported at zero tariffs. There is no restriction on foreign exchange or profit remittance.
